Hi guys, and Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays! I hope you had a fabulous day today, whether you celebrated or not. β€
I got a bunch of wonderful presents, which I won’t go into now, but one of my favorites was my bullet journal. I got a journal and supplies to start one, so after breakfast that’s exactly what I did. I know everyone and their unicorn does this, but nonetheless I thought it would be fun to make a post about the start of my own journal. π
This post will be divided into two sections: my materials and my spreads. Let’s get into it!
I’ve heard many times that any journal and plain pen are perfectly fine for starting a bullet journal, but I wanted to be fancy. Therefore, I got many of the same supplies more dedicated journalers have. π
Leuchtturm1917 medium hardcover A5 notebook with dotted pagesΒ βΒ Amazon,Β Leuchtturm. Mine is purple.
Stabilo fine tip .88 pens, 30 packΒ β Amazon.
Various rolls of washi tapeΒ βΒ Amazon.
I haven’t done very much with my journal yet, because I won’t really be starting it until the new year. I didn’t see the point in doing anything else, since there are only five days until 2017. However, I did still make a few spreads, because a) it’s fun and b) I like being a bit ahead of schedule.* I won’t be going into too much detail, because a blog post will be coming later about most of them. π
* Unless we’re talking about blogging, because even I don’t know my posting schedule these days. XD
A display of my washi tape, for no reason. π
My non-bookish 2017 resolutions.
January calendar, mostly empty. XD
My January TBR and wrap up, respectively.
And lastly, my “blog log,” to keep track of January posts. π
I know this is a short post, but most of this stuff doesn’t require much explanation. If you’d be interested in more bullet journal posts in the new year, let me know!
Do you have a bullet journal? Do you want to start one? If you have one, what sort of spreads are in it? I’d love to know! Tell me in the comments! π
I’m off to have dinner (and dessert, of course) and continue reading The Star-Touched Queen. π I hope you have a fabulous day/night, and Merry Christmas again! *festive emojis* β€
Until next time…
I love your reading pages!

Cherry at _forevermint on Instagram has been slowly converting me to become more creative with my planner but I haven’t had any thoughts of upgrading to a full bujo yet. Anyway, good look with this craft, Olivia. And happy new year!
