Conquering Kingdoms Book Tag!

Hi guys! Look, I have something other than a review! Yay me! πŸ˜›

Honestly, I had a bit of a difficult time coming up with an idea for today’s post. But I did a bit of digging and found this, the Conquering Kingdoms book tag. It’s based on the Falling Kingdoms series, and if you’ve been following me for any time at all you’ll know I’m obsessed with those books. This tag was actually created by Morgan Rhodes herself, the author of FK! πŸ˜€

So without further ado, let’s get into it!

1.Β In Mytica, there are constant betrayals and you can’t trust anyone! Which book character would you trust to be your sidekick on this adventure?

Ooh, this is hard! There are so many characters I would love to have as a sidekick, but for this one I think I’ll go with Nina from Six of Crows. She’s good in a fight, but also clever and persuasive, so with her on my side I could probably pull off anything… even surviving in Mytica. πŸ˜‰

2.Β You will come across many who want you dead in Mytica, so you need to be ready to fight. What kind of warrior are you?

Um… I’ll say a cross between Cleo from Falling Kingdoms, Inej from Six of Crows, and Neville from Harry Potter. I have no physical talents, so I wouldn’t do well in any actual fights. Instead I would rely on wit and stealth, like the girls do. However, if I had to fight, I’d probably surprise myself and my enemies by doing something epic I didn’t know I could do, like Neville.Β πŸ˜›

3.Β What fantasy world would you like to conquer?

I’m not generally the conquering type, unless the one being conquered is my TBR pile, so… how about visiting a fantasy world? I’d love to see Velaris, from A Court of Mist and Fury. It sounds so serene and gorgeous, and not to mention, I’ll take any chance I can get to hang out with Feyre, Rhys, and the Inner Circle. πŸ˜€

4.Β Which fictional character would you like to rule by your side?

Again, so many options! For this one I’ll go with a character from my newest favorite series, Revenants. That character is Jules! I felt really bad for him while reading the final book, If I Should Die, and he just seems like a sweet, amusing, logical guy. And those are qualities of a good ruler, in my opinion, so I can be queen and he can be king… of the world I didn’t conquer. XD

5.Β Who would you throw in the dungeon?

I don’t want to pick a common answer like Umbridge or Levana, even though I would happily throw them both in the dungeon. Let’s go with Maeve, from Empire of Storms. I won’t elaborate because I don’t want to spoil EOS for anyone, but I’ll just say this: once she’s in the dungeon, she’s getting the same treatment. πŸ™‚

(If you’ve read EOS you’ll know what I mean.)

6.Β Who gets stabbed in the back?

This is the easiest question for me to answer in this tag. I don’t know what that implies about me as a person, but I promise I’m not violent. * XD Anyway, I’m going to say the little Fjerdan boy (I don’t think he’s ever named) from Crooked Kingdom. Again, I can’t elaborate because of spoilers, but if you’ve read CK you’ll get it. πŸ˜‰

* The exception being Mario Kart or anyone that hurts/kills my character in Super Mario 3D World or Splatoon. Nintendo games bring out the worst in me. I think this applies to anyone. XD

And that wraps up this post! I don’t know who’s done this or who still does tags, so if you’ve read Falling Kingdoms or want to then I tag you! πŸ™‚

Which fictional character would rule by your side? Which character would you throw in the dungeon? Have you read the Falling Kingdoms series? I’d love to know! Tell me in the comments! πŸ™‚

Remember to keep the comments spoiler-free if you have anything to say about my answers, or answer any questions yourself!

I’m off to play Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and read more of Tainted. πŸ™‚ I hope you all have a fabulous day/night! And if I don’t post tomorrow, happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans! ❀

Until next time…
