Hi guys and Happy Halloween! 😀
That certainly makes up for it being Monday, doesn’t it? At least somewhat? (Unless you don’t celebrate, then it’s just a regular Monday…)
Happy Halloween!
(*singing* THIS IS HALLOWEEN, THIS IS HALLOWEEN, PUMPKINS SCREAM IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT)
Sorry, I had to. (Not sorry at all, actually.)
(If you don’t recognize those lyrics, they’re from The Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s an amazing “spooky” movie and you need it in your life.)
Not my picture. Found on Google. Credit to creator.
And if you don’t celebrate Halloween, I hope your day was fabulous anyway! 🙂
I’ve always celebrated Halloween. Up until now, I’ve always gone trick-or-treating. What can I say, I’m a kid at heart. 😛 This year I think I’ve grown out of it, so we’re all staying home to watch “spooky” movies (because I’m a chicken, haha) and play games.
I’m getting ahead on my research paper bit by bit, and with my research done it isn’t nearly as time-consuming. I’ll start writing it later this week, and hopefully finish it this time next week. I’ll be so glad to be done with it. Granted, in two weeks we start presentations over our same topic and it has to be 5-6 minutes long, but I’m not going to focus on that. Speeches or presentations of any sort give me terrible anxiety that I don’t have otherwise, and I really wish they weren’t required as part of a semester grade. Or required at all. -_-
All month I’ve been reading either fantasy or contemporary books, with a single paranormal romance thrown in for good measure, but I haven’t picked up a sci-fi in a fair amount of time. I think I last read one in August? But recently I fixed that, because my current read is a sci-fi. 😉

The Infinity of You & Me by J.Q. Coyle!
out Nov. 8th!
First, I just want to say I’m absolutely in love with this cover. It gives me slight Looking For Alaska vibes, and the ombré is one of my favorites ever: blue, purple, pink. *heart eyes* Anyway, it’s another one of the four ARCs I received from Griffin Teen, and it’s interesting. It’s a fairly short book (260 pages, I think?) and I’m a bit over halfway through. The concept is somewhat confusing, but I think I’m starting to understand, and it’s still a good, unique story. 🙂
Depending on how quickly I’m able to finish this, my review should be up either tomorrow or Thursday. My wrap up will be up on Wednesday. Keep an eye out for those, if you’re interested. 😉
I’m sorry this is a short post, but I’m still in a bit of an emotional slump and I’m eager to get our family movie night started.
So that wraps up this MMM!
What are you reading? Will you be reading The Infinity of You & Me when it comes out? Do you celebrate Halloween? Have you seen The Nightmare Before Christmas? I’d love to know! Tell me in the comments! 🙂
I’m off to enjoy my night with my family and maybe squeeze a bit more reading in. 😀 I hope you all have a fabulous day/night, whether you celebrate Halloween or not! ❤
Until next time…
Agreed, The Infinity of You and Me really does have a pretty cover, especially the gorgeous colors. A good title too!
