Hi guys! For the first time ever I can’t really put words together, so I won’t be rambling in this post. 😛
First of all, I just wanted to briefly mention that I’m really close to 200 followers, and that’s kind of crazy. Numbers don’t matter to me, but I felt like this was worthy of being brought up. So thanks for that. ❤
Second, I want to let you all know that I might not be as active on here for a bit. I’ll keep up with these posts and reviews, and try to stick to my Monday, Wednesday, Friday posting schedule. I just have a lot going on in my life right now, and I need to figure all of that out primarily. This is meant to be a happy blog, though, so I’ll just leave it at that. 😉
On a happier note, I feel like mentioning that on Saturday I got the 25th anniversary edition of Beauty and the Beast, which came out last week at some point. It’s one of my favorite Disney movies and I haven’t seen it in years, so I was really excited to finally own it. I watched it with my family on Saturday night, and I loved it just as much as I remembered. 🙂
The last thing I can think of to talk about is what I’m currently reading. This book has been on my TBR for a while, and the final book in the trilogy just recently came out. It’s a high fantasy, and I’m not sure why I’m drawing it out like this. But I’ll roll with it.
(No, I don’t know why I drew it out like that…)
ANYWAY. I found Snow Like Ashes at the library a couple of weeks ago and just had to pick it up, because I’d been intrigued for a while. I’m only about 130 pages into it because I’ve had a fairly busy weekend, but I hope to binge-read after this post goes up. Either way, though, I’m loving it so far. (Cue McDonald’s jingle.) The world is one of the most unique I’ve ever read about, with the Season kingdoms and the Rhythm kingdoms and magic conduits. It’s so cool! I also really like Meira, even though she has an amusing habit of falling in love with princes. From the start she’s hiding feelings for Mather, and I just met Theron, who she instantly liked. I kind of expected the twist, but I feel bad for her. She’s under a lot of pressure and can’t really have either guy (as far as I know), and I’m just excited to keep reading. Now I know why this series is so hyped! 😀
And that wraps up this post!
What are you currently reading? Have you read Snow Like Ashes? Who’s your favorite fictional prince? I’d love to know! Tell me in the comments! 🙂
I’m off to have a snack and read more. 🙂 I hope you all have a fabulous day/night! ❤
(And I’m sorry that this is about the shortest MMM I’ve written so far.)
Until next time…
