Burn, Rewrite, Reread Tag!

Hi guys! I was tagged by Cherry @Β Read Forevermore to do this. πŸ™‚

The Rules:

  • Randomly choose 3 books.
  • For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread.
  • Repeat until you have completed three rounds.

Round 1:

Burn: To Kill a Mockingbird. I read this for English earlier this year and I despised it. I know many others love it, but it just wasn’t for me. 😐

Rewrite: Dream a Little Dream. The synopsis was really interesting and the first half was great, but the second half was disappointing and cliché. 😐

Reread: Lady Midnight. This was absolute perfection. This probably wasn’t surprising. XD

Round 2:

Burn: The Raven Boys. I DNF’d this halfway through because I didn’t like the characters and found the story boring. 😐

Rewrite: Queen of Shadows. This book was perfect in my eyes, but I wouldn’t mind making Chaol a little less of a jerk. πŸ˜‰

Reread: Clockwork Prince. You should know by now that I adore Cassie’s books. πŸ˜€

Round 3:

Burn: The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender. I was bored and thought too much of the story focused on Ava’s family history. 😐

Rewrite: The Outsiders. I adore this book, but I wish the ending wasn’t so heartbreaking. I would make it a happy ending. πŸ™‚

Reread: Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief. This is one of my all-time favorite books, and one of two that got me into reading. ❀

I Tag:

Ashleigh @ A Frolic Through Fiction

Mariana @Β fireheartbooks

Bri @ Paperback Bri

And that’s all for the tag! It was really fun to do. πŸ˜€

I’m off to have dinner and read more of The Coldest Girl in Coldtown. Hopefully my review will be up tomorrow. πŸ™‚

Until next time…
