Fun Plans & Events

Hi guys! I thought I would post this just as a fun update on my plans and events I’m attending. πŸ™‚

Today I’m spending all day shopping with my family! We’re going to breakfast at Village Inn, then to the mall, the local shopping plaza, Game Stop for my sister, and *my favorite* Barnes & Noble. It’s a gorgeous day out; sunny, warm, and a cool breeze. I’m so excited! πŸ˜€

I have three upcoming bookish events that I’m excited ecstatic for, and even though I’ll probably mention them a million times between now and then, I thought I’d bring them up. πŸ˜‰

Chloe Neill signing, March 1st, Barnes & Noble β€” This is celebrate the release of the twelfth book in her Chicagoland Vampires series. I’ve never read it, but the first book sounds interesting and I’m always up for meeting authors. πŸ˜‰ But, honestly, I’m going there because I want to make bibliophile friends in real life. XD I have some through this blog, but none of you live close to me, unfortunately. Unless someone lives in the Midwestern United States that I don’t know about? πŸ™ƒ

Cassandra Clare signing, March 13th, Westside Community Center β€” Yes, you read that right. Cassandra announced the Β dates for the Lady Midnight tour on Thursday, and I freaked out. I’m still kind of freaking out. I CAN’T BELIEVE A FAMOUS AUTHOR IS COMING TO MY TOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. And she’s one of my top three ultimate favorite authors, so that makes it even better. 😍

BookCon, May 14th, McCormick Place, Chicago β€” And finally, the one I won’t shut up about. XD This is literally my most anticipated day of the year. I’ll meet Sarah J. Maas, Cassandra Clare (again!), Leigh Bardugo, Laini Taylor, Marissa Meyer, Alexandra Bracken, Sabaa Tahir, Richelle Mead, and Susan Dennard, and get pictures and signed books. More authors will sign up, too. I also might meet Jesse and Kat, my two favorite BookTubers, respectively. I’m so flipping excited for this. 😍

That’s all I have for now, but if I’m lucky there will be many more events throughout the year! I’ll have blog posts about all of these after they happen. πŸ˜€ March and May can’t come fast enough! 😝

Are you going to any of these, or any other fun book events? I’d love to know! And if you’re going to one of these, I’d love to meet up with you! 😘

I’m off to continue shopping! Until next time…
