January TBR

Hi guys! One of my bookish/blogging one resolutions for 2015 was to start outlining a monthly TBR, so I’m going to start the year on a positive note and do just that. 😀

I’m not sure I’ll get to all of these because I never know what the library will have, but my goal is to obtain and read them all. So, without further rambling on my part, let’s get into it! 🙂

From current library haul:

♦ The Iron Trial by Holly Black & Cassandra Clare (Magisterium #1) – I actually just finished this book. My review will be up next. 🙂

♦ Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout (Lux #4) – I’ll be starting this after I post my review for The Iron Trial. I’m really excited to get into it because a) the ending of Opal was brutal and b) it has Daemon’s POV. *squee*

I own:

♦ The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey (The 5th Wave #1) – I’ve been wanting to read this for a while and I was lucky enough to get it for Christmas. I can read it just in time for the movie release! 😀

♦ Redwall by Brian Jacques (Redwall #1) – I’m going to buddy-read this with my sister and I’m really excited! 😀

♦ Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saénz (stand-alone) – I’ll be reading this and Redwall at the same time because I read a lot faster than my sister. XD I’m excited to see if it lives up to the hype!

To look for at the library:

♦ Isla and The Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins (Anna and The French Kiss #3) – I really want to finish this trilogy! It’s cute and fun, and probably my favorite contemporary series (Anna is the best so far). ❤

♦ The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson (The Kiss of Deception #2) – I’m excited to see what happens to Lia, Rafe, and Kaden, and to see if someone regrets their actions (if you’ve read it you know what I mean). 😉

♦ Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo (Grisha #3) – I really want to know what happens to Alina and the Darkling! And if I can finally understand why everyone ships them. If everything works out, I might be buddy-reading this with Ashleigh @ A Frolic Through Fiction. 😀 (and I guess I want to know how Mal is too haha)

♦ Shades of Earth by Beth Revis (Across The Universe #3) – I’m really curious to see what the new planet is like and I hope Amy and Elder make up. Also, I really hope that someone is properly punished, like Amy wants (again, you’ll get it if you’ve read it). 😉

♦ Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor (Daughter of Smoke and Bone #2) – I want to find out how Karou’s trip goes and I want more of her and Akiva. I’m also intrigued to meet this Ziri guy I’ve heard about. 😀

So all in all, I want to read 10 books this month! I think I can do it (and I already have one done). 😀

Have you read any of these? Are any of them on your TBR? What books do you want to read this month? Feel free to tell me in the comments! 🙂

Until next time- Olivia ❤

♦ Note – I go back to school tomorrow so my reading and posting will decrease a bit. I might do a TTT tomorrow, but that’s about it (although I’ll still respond to comments and read new posts). Just so you know. 🙂

  1. Haha great post! I took your advice on the library- hopefully going to the teen book club on Thursday! Yay! Only problem- I have overdue books. From, like, ages ago. My mom and I totally forgot about them! Whoops. 😉

      1. I’m not really sure because I got 11 books that were my sisters when she was younger so I’ll probably only get one or two. Mara Dyer sounded good. X

  2. I think I’ll be reading Ruin and Rising towards the end of January – I just started Outlander which might take me a while, and I still need to read Siege and Storm before (obviously) haha!
