Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Book 3 in the Lux series
Genre: YA paranormal romance
Pages: 384
5/5 stars
I swear, writing amazing books comes as easily to JLA as having a conversation does (I assume). Opal was another amazing installment in the Lux series, and it’s left me desperate for more.
It’s really hard to review this without spoiling anything so I think I’ll just make this brief.
Katy was a lot tougher, and Daemon was really protective and super sweet. I loved the way their relationship developed; I honestly think they’re perfect together. I was also really happy to find out that Katy and Dee started hanging out again, and repairing their friendship. 😀
There were so many twists, once again. I’m not even joking- in all three Lux books, I start to get used to one twist and then there’s another one. These books are full of surprises, and Opal was especially. And I totally could not believe the ending! It was so brutal and full of feels.
Basically, Opal was fantastic and I need Origin asap. 😀
Until next time- Olivia ❤
I’m sorry for the really short, lame review. I just find it difficult to write detailed reviews for books in series that aren’t the first one. I always have to be super careful to not spoil the plot development, and to not spoil the first book in case someone hasn’t started the series yet. Does that make sense? Do you feel the same way?
Yeah I feel the same haha
