Hi guys! Happy Monday! If that’s a thing. Is that a thing? I don’t think it’s a thing. XD Anyway, I don’t have any recommendations this week so I’ll be skipping that and hopefully I’ll do it next week. But I am doing my monthly wrap up and TBR! 😀
November wrap up (linked to my review):
Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins – This was a super cute contemporary and it’s one of my new favorites! 5/5 stars.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell – I thought this was a fun, unique contemporary, although it did touch on some darker topics. I didn’t write a review because it was a reread. But still, 5/5 stars.
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell – I found this to be a fun, quirky contemporary, but again, it did touch on some darker topics. I wasn’t completely satisfied with the ending though. 4.5/5 stars.
Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi – This was an amazing sequel to Shatter Me! 5/5 stars.
Unite Me by Tahereh Mafi – I really enjoyed Warner’s novella, but I had some issues with Adam’s. 4/5 stars.
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare – This was a fantastic conclusion to the trilogy, but it was loaded with feels! 5/5 stars.
Lola and The Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins – I thought this was a cute read, but I found Lola annoying and the ending predictable. 3/5 stars.
Symptoms of Being Human by Jeff Garvin – I was lent this ARC by the head of my book club. I thought it was an interesting and informative read, but also that the climax was lacking. 3½/5 stars. (Release date is February 2, 2016)
Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout – This was an amazing continuation of the Lux series, and it left me eager to read Opal! 5/5 stars.
Winter by Marissa Meyer – I thought this was an epic finale to The Lunar Chronicles! There was a ton of action and loads of feels. 5/5 stars. ( Who else has seen the cover for Stars Above? I can’t wait for it to come out! 😀 )
So overall, November was a pretty good reading month. 🙂
December TBR (linked to Goodreads page):
Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Across The Universe by Beth Revis
The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson
That’s all I have for right now, although I know I’ll read more because these books are due back to the library in the middle of the month. 😉
Now I just need to figure out which one I should read first! What do you think? What did you read this month, and what do you want to read in December? 🙂
Until next time- Olivia ❤
