Around The World in YA Tag!

This tag was created by Becca and Books, and I was tagged by Reading With Jenna. Thank you! 😀

The rules are simple: List a country, and then show which favorite book of yours is set in that country. You can use the countries I have used, add your own, or use completely different ones!

CHINA– I chose Cinder by Marissa Meyer. It’s set in New Beijing, a futuristic city in China. I just finished Winter last night and it was fantastic!

FRANCE– I chose Anna & The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. It’s set in Paris, and it’s the cutest contemporary I’ve ever read!

THE UK– I chose Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. Watford is in the UK, and this is a really good book! Simon and Baz are so cute.

ENGLAND– I think England is technically part of the UK, but I’m going to use it separately anyway. XD I chose Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. I adore this series, so I had to find a way to include it!

THE NETHERLANDS– I stole this from Jenna and chose The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. A chunk of the book takes place in Amsterdam, so I’m counting it.

PERU– I think this is kind of cheating, but I chose The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare. The first short story is set here, so I’m counting it.

USA– There are a lot of options for this one, but I chose The Goddess Test by Aimée Carter. This takes place in the middle of nowhere Eden, Michigan.

And that’s it! I really had to think about these. I didn’t realize how little my settings varied! Well, that’s not true. I read a lot of books set in fantasy worlds, just not so many in real places. XD

I tag:

Ashleigh (A Frolic Through Fiction)

Marian (bookception21)

Mariana (fireheartbooks)

Georgia (Books and Other Miracles)

Until next time- Olivia ❤
