Hey guys! It’s Monday again, and I’ve got three very different books to recommend this week. They’re all amazing, but one in particular has a very special place in my heart. 😀
A Curious Tale of The In-Between by Lauren DeStefano – This is the first book in Lauren’s new middle grade series about a young girl named Pram, who can see and talk to ghosts and spirits. I don’t typically read middle grade books, but this one sounded really good so I had to pick it up. It didn’t disappoint! 😀
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton – This is one of my favorite books of all time. It’s about a group of boys in the 1990’s that are Greasers going up against the Socs, which is just slang for the hoods/unpopular kids and the rich/popular kids. I had to read it for school a few years ago and I just fell in love with it. It’s a really quick read, but it’s packed with feels! ❤
Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider – This is a stand-alone about two tuberculosis-ridden teens, Lane and Sadie, at hospital/boarding school they attend with a bunch of other kids in similar situations. It’s like The Fault In Our Stars meets Looking For Alaska, but at the same time it’s totally unique. I think it’s considered a tear-jerker, but I don’t really think so. But I’ve yet to cry over a book, so I don’t know if my opinion counts. XD Either way, it’s really good!
And that wraps up my recommendations for this week! Have you read any of these? 🙂
Until next time- Olivia ❤
I have actually been planning on reading Extraordinary Means and The Outsiders! I will definitely have to check them out soon after this post.
