Top 5 Tuesday — Series I’d Recommend

Hi guys! For this week’s T5T I’m combining it and my recommendation post that I forgot to do yesterday. I was just so absorbed in Clockwork Princess and determined to finish it. So to make up for that, I’m doing a mash-up. 🙂

All five of these series are very popular, but they’re also all close to my heart so I had to use them. ❤️

5. Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout – I’ve only read the first book so far, but it’s an awesome alien series and I love Katy and Daemon. 😀 (Goodreads | my review)

4. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare – I’m in love with this series! It’s one of my all-time favorites. It’s an amazing, action-packed urban fantasy with the best cast of characters, including a villain you can’t help but love (at least, I couldn’t). 😀 (Goodreads)

3. Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan – This is a middle-grade series I started reading when I was seven and I’ve loved it ever since. It’s fun and humorous, and so enjoyable. As is all of Rick’s other work. ❤️ (Goodreads)

2. The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare – This is the prequel series to TMI and it’s equally amazing, but with 10x the feels. I just finished the last book last night. 😍😭 (Goodreads | my review for the first book)

1. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas – I know just about everyone has read this series, but I had to mention it. It’s my absolute favorite series at the moment, and if you haven’t picked it up yet, I’d definitely recommend it. There’s tons of action, romance, and epic characters in a magical fantasy world. 😍 (Goodreads)

Feel free to comment your (spoiler-free!) opinion on any of these! 🙂

Until next time– Olivia 💜 (my Twitter | my Instagram)

  1. I actually found The Mortal Instruments hard to get into, but the first book of the series was really good. Thank you for the recommendations, I have soooo many books on my TBR but some of these sound great, from other reviews as well.

    1. Yeah, the first book was a little bit flat in parts and there was a lot of info-dumping, but I didn’t mind because I was really intrigued. And the rest of the series totally makes up for it! 😀 I have a lot of books on my TBR too. Like, 230-something. XD And no problem!
