Top 5 Tuesday — Favorite Female Characters

Hi guys! So I haven’t been posting much other than reviews, and since I haven’t been reading as much, I thought I’d start doing other things, like Top 5 Tuesday. I don’t have many other ideas yet, but I’m open to suggestions. 😊

This week I’m doing my 5 favorite female characters. They’re all so awesome, and I can’t help but love them, even if they’re fairly common favorites. Let’s get started!

5. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling)
I think just about every bookish girl idolizes Hermione, and for fairly similar reasons. She’s the smartest witch of her age, she’s loyal and she’s brave. Not to mention she saves Harry and Ron about 70% of the time, and I think all of us fans agree that they might not have ended up where they are if not for her.

4. Tessa Gray (The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare)
She’s a warlock and she loves books. Enough said. (Oh, and she’s friends with Will Herondale. Bonus points! ☺️)

3. Katy Swartz (Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout)
I’m not even halfway through Obsidian and I love Katy. She’s honestly a lot like me. She’s normally quiet but can be sassy, and she’ll speak up if she wants to. Plus, she loves YA books, and has a book blog! She’s only the third character I’ve read about that loves books, and the very first that blogs about them! I think that’s awesome, and that we’d be good friends if she was real.

2. Isabelle Lightwood (The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare)
Isabelle is so awesome. She’s sassy but she cares, and she’s a diva that hunts and kills demons in her spare time. I also love her whip! It’s a great weapon, but it’s also a cool cuff whenever it isn’t being used.

and finally…

1. Aelin Ashryver Galathynius (Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas)
Aelin is easily my favorite female character. She’s absolutely amazing. She has a tragic past and the aftermath of that turned her into a vicious person, but she has a soft side. She loves books, clothes, and puppies, and she has a huge sweet tooth. And she’s an extremely loyal friend, once she learns she can trust someone. I have a lot in common with Aelin. I’m not an assassin and I don’t have magic, but I share a lot of interests with her, and I honestly think we’d be really good friends if she was real. 😍

And that wraps up my first Top 5 Tuesday! Feel free to comment if we have any favorite characters in common. 😊

Until next time– Olivia ❤️ (my Twitter)
